Reproduction and Inheritance  

All organisms have an innate need to reproduce, passing on their genes to future generations. Some aspects of the reproductive process are common to all organisms and some aspects are completely unique. In this unit, we will explore the basics of how genes are propagated from generation to generation. We will also be exploring the mechanisms that allows organisms to be identical to their parents or vary drastically.
